We’re excited to announce that iCore CEO & Founder, Stephen G. Canton, is a proud Chairman of the 2015 United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) Mayor’s Masked Ball! The annual affair features a host of Washington’s top dignitaries and celebrities in support of UNCF’s commitment to providing education to underserved youth. The event is set to take place in major cities across the United States with the Washington, DC installment taking place Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. in the Andrew Mellon Auditorium.
As the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization, UNCF provides increased educational opportunities to underprivileged youth in minority communities. iCore’s five-year partnership with UNCF largely stems from Mr. Canton’s intrinsic belief in the value and necessity of a diverse workforce to drive business forward and positively impact the community at large. Over the years, iCore has donated technological tools and equipment as well as participated in the organization’s numerous drives and events to support its mission. Operating under the mantra of “giving hope to people all over the world who aspire to use their intellect to better themselves and their communities,” the UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball promises to be an evening of inspiration and energy, harnessing the power of the local business community to engage the area’s underprivileged minority youth.
The Mayor’s Masked Ball will feature a VIP award gathering, entertainment, elegant dining, and a silent auction.
