New York Executive Tech Luncheon & Ribbon Cutting

On February 19th, iCore hosted its first ever Executive Technology Luncheon in New York City. The event also signified our official launch in New York and culminated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Approximately 80 executives representing a variety of industries attended our luncheon to network with IT executives and discover innovative approach for incorporating the latest in cloud technology into their business models.
 
Recognizing the importance of cutting costs and decision-making time in fast-paced environment like the NYC area, iCore CMO, Jim Rogers, covered IT best practices for enhancing employee mobility, maximizing workforce productivity, and boosting business ROI.
 
We cannot wait to see what the NYC area has in store for us, and we look forward to offering our very best back to this thriving region!

Philadelphia UC & Cloud Connect Recap

Last Thursday, February 12th, we hosted the inaugural instance of our new networking event series, UC & Cloud Connect. The event was held at R2L Restaurant in downtown Philadelphia. We brought together Philly’s great tech minds for an evening of cocktails, networking, and insights into key Unified Communications and Cloud trends for 2015.
 
The networking event featured a display of the top products in the UCaaS and Cloud market including the Polycom phones pictured below. The event created a forum for discussion on the latest technology trends for businesses with comments from iCore CMO, Jim Rogers, Product Manager, Lauren Gehrig, and Senior Director, Kevin Thomsen.

Chicago Executive Technology Luncheon Recap

Last month we brought together Chicago’s top IT pros for an afternoon of great food, drinks and discussions on unified communications and cloud technology. The event held on January 22, 2015 at the Hotel Monaco in downtown Chicago is the second go around for our luncheon series in Chicago. We had a great turnout of more than 60 technology leaders who enjoyed enlightening conversation and networking at the afternoon event.
 
The luncheon featured a live demo of the top products in the UCaaS and Cloud market including Polycom phones, Microsoft Lync, our virtual desktop solution and more. The luncheon created a forum for discussion on the latest technology trends for businesses with  comments from iCore CMO Jim Rogers, and a panel discussion led by cloud pros. Our New York team wasted no time building up their footprint in the local area around our newest office! Just a few weeks after stepping into the big apple, our NYC reps rose to the forefront to represent iCore as a sponsor in SmartCEO Magazine’s Future 50 Awards event held on January 29, 2015.
 
The awards banquet celebrates the fastest-growing companies in the New York tri-state area, spanning numerous industries, from cloud technology to healthcare to consumer products and retail, among many others.  The companies represented consisted of a whopping 12,508 employees and a collective annual revenue of $2.65 billion! Needless to say this was a very exciting, robust group of business executives to be around. The Hollywood-theme, black-tie event was truly an exhilarating evening of networking and celebration.
 
We are really excited to continue to dive into the business scene in the New York area as we settle into our new office, and look forward to seeing you at future events in 2015!
